This has struck me several times; what would’ve happened if the other side won? Would it be for the better, or for the worse? Personally I believe there wouldn’t be much change, at all. The more the world progress, the less corruption will we experience. And if the corruption goes to far, the people will speak up. They always do.

The “Rosa Parks incident” didnt occur before 1955. Would we have a same incident in an alternative reality where Germany won WW2? Would we be as globalized as we are now if Russia was the ultimate-power?

Also, school is wicked. Really, after one year of absence I am ready to hit the bench, once again.

Places no cars will go?

This morning I was granted a spot at Atlanten VGS, which is stellar right? Well, I was planning on entering the 3rd grade, but ended up with 2nd grade, because I am lame. This isn’t all that bad, but I will have to rework my French, as the subject is final during the 2nd year. Je ne parle pas francais.

That left aside, I am really looking forward to entering this school. The last time I actually started in a class without knowing anyone in it from earlier times, was in Oslo; age 7. Will be a different experience, hopefully.

Also, I just want to say, it’s not often I am down. But when I am there is one song which can always cheer me up. Ever heard about Arcade Fire? They’re a pretty sweet indie group from Canada, or something… Anyways, I recall seeing them at Roskilde (07′?). Before their performance I’ve heard nothing about the group or their music. But anyways, I remember comming wet, (yes, it was pouring) and drunk to their gig. They were about to fire up “No Cars Go”, and somehow I was able to wander of from my friends, (see, drunk) but didn’t care much, as this was a killer song.

More realistic He-Man?

Well, we all love the Nolanfied Batman series, or, atleast I do. I myself have enjoyed Batman Begins and The Dark Knight just last week. I am quite certain that these two comic/superhero movies will influence upcomming movies.

But here’s the kicker, not every Comic-universe can be transformed into a realistic movie, as some of the major plot devices just wouldn’t fit in.

Buuuuuuut; now there’s talk about a Batman Begins-esque movie. How they are going to pull it off, I do not know. Perhaps some movies are better left when they are directly taken from the books/series to the big screen.

Also, school is soon in. Haven’t gotten my spot yet tho. Hoping for Atlanten VGS, which is in Kristiansund I believe. Hoping to use my new-earned self-discipline to conquer the grades I want.

Eddie Izzard, oh you. This guy is beyond British, he is, God. (If God was a transvestite that is).

They should really consider The Pond of Hell, sounds catchy.

Also right now, I am consider both Psychology and Psychiatry for my further studies. But it’s so damn hard to choose. Both the disciplines will have me to relate to people, but with different issues however. Do I have the patience to stick up with people in need of help? I don’t know why, but I’ve never felt a gain of helping people.

 

Linking your memory

Well recently I’ve tend to start observing and trying out new-age crap, just for the kicks. And one thing I’ve noticed during the past 6 months is that my memory has been fading. I am just worse now than ever to actually remember stuff. I’ve never actually needed any study techniques, and my grades have always been over par. /brag Anyways, I am going to attend to the last year of high school now in a week or two, so I might just start using all this new-age crap, and hey it might even work.

Anyways, one method I found which I found extra-ordinary good was the Link Memory System. Check it out, it’s pretty neat.

Also I am quite annoyed over how the tabloids of Norway has broken it’s neutrality to politics, and is now tending to lean over to the more blue side, I am assuming that because that will possibly favor them.

Currently abusing Last.fm

Greetings people of ze internets.

One thing that struck me recently was that the two major tabloids in Norway does not have the same main article. Solskjær, (a famous Norwegian fotball player) was retiring yesterday, and I was guessing that this would be front page material at about any sort of medium over here. However, Dagbladet, (the smaller tabloid of the two major ones) choose to have a completely different main story. Actually Solskjær wasn’t even mentioned on the front page. Why is this? Is it just to make a stand? Or did they just give in? Of course, having the same main article as your arch enemy would be silly, but letting out such a major event from your front page is even more silly.

Also, I’ve just started abusing Last.fm. Actually Last.fm is abusing me, well, not me, but rather my dear dear Opera ): Opera tends to lag sometime when Last.fm is up, which kills me. So what should I prioritize; surfing or listening to The Last Shadow Puppets? I think we all can agree in that listening to The Puppets is most important.
